Math (K–12)

Our Math program uses the Abeka curriculum to develop strong computational skills, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Instruction is structured, thorough, and designed to build confidence and accuracy while helping students recognize order, consistency, and truth as part of God’s design.

Students are taught to approach mathematics with discipline and perseverance, developing skills that support academic success and everyday problem-solving.

Primary School

In the primary grades, Math instruction focuses on building a solid foundation in number sense and basic mathematical concepts. Lessons are clear, engaging, and structured to promote understanding and mastery through practice and repetition.

At this level, instruction emphasizes:

  • Number recognition, counting, and place value

  • Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

  • Measurement, time, money, and basic geometry

  • Problem-solving and logical reasoning

Students develop confidence in their abilities while learning to apply mathematical concepts accurately and consistently.

Secondary School

At the secondary level, students progress through increasingly advanced mathematical concepts, including pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, algebra II, and higher-level mathematics as appropriate. The Abeka curriculum emphasizes precision, critical thinking, and step-by-step problem solving.

Students develop:

  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills

  • Accuracy and efficiency in computation

  • An understanding of mathematical relationships and structures

  • Preparation for college-level mathematics and real-world applications

Secondary math courses challenge students to think logically, work independently, and apply mathematical concepts with confidence and integrity.

Our Math program equips students with essential skills, discipline, and confidence, preparing them for academic success and responsible decision-making.
