Science (K–12)

Our Science program uses the Abeka curriculum to help students explore God’s creation with curiosity, accuracy, and purpose. Instruction emphasizes scientific knowledge and inquiry while maintaining a clear biblical worldview, encouraging students to recognize God as the Creator and Sustainer of all things.

Through structured lessons, hands-on learning, and age-appropriate experimentation, students develop a strong understanding of scientific concepts while learning to think critically, observe carefully, and ask meaningful questions about the world around them.

Primary School

In the primary grades, Science focuses on building curiosity and foundational scientific understanding. Students explore life science, earth science, and physical science through engaging lessons that encourage observation, discovery, and wonder at God’s creation.

At this level, instruction emphasizes:

  • Basic scientific vocabulary and concepts

  • Observation, classification, and simple experimentation

  • Understanding plants, animals, weather, and the human body

  • Recognizing God’s design and order in creation

Lessons are designed to spark interest, support hands-on learning, and help students develop a positive attitude toward science from an early age.

Secondary School

At the secondary level, students engage in a more in-depth and rigorous study of scientific disciplines, including life science, physical science, biology, chemistry, and earth science. The Abeka curriculum provides a structured and academically challenging approach that prepares students for college-level coursework while integrating biblical truth.

Students develop:

  • Strong scientific reasoning and analytical skills

  • Experience with laboratory activities and scientific processes

  • An understanding of scientific principles within a creation-based framework

  • The ability to evaluate scientific theories and data thoughtfully

Secondary science courses encourage students to think critically, conduct experiments responsibly, and approach scientific study with both intellectual integrity and faith.

Our Science program equips students with knowledge and discernment, encouraging them to explore the natural world while honoring God as its Creator.
