Technology and Personal Device Policy:

To promote a focused, respectful, and Christ-centered learning environment, student use of personal electronic devices is restricted during the school day.

 

The use of personal electronic devices is limited at ARC Academy. This includes, but is not limited to, cell phones and smartwatches.

 

Unauthorized use of cell phones and smartwatches is prohibited during regular school hours. Upon arrival, students are required to place their cell phones in a designated receptacle. Devices will be returned to students at the end of the school day. Students who drive to school may leave their phones in their vehicles; however, they may not access them during the school day without permission.

 

Laptop use will be limited throughout the school day. Students must receive teacher or staff permission before using any device, and use is restricted to academic purposes only.

 

Students who fail to comply with this policy will lose device privileges and may be subject to additional disciplinary action as deemed appropriate by school administration.
