Health and Wellbeing Policy:

In the event of contagious illness, I agree to withhold sending my student to school until they are fever free for 24 hours, without the aid of fever reducing medication.  If the contagious illness does not involve fever, I agree to withhold sending my student to school until the Dr. prescribed quarantine has elapsed. 

 

In the event of minor accident or injury, I authorize school personnel to administer first aid and to contact me regarding the incident. 

 

In the event of an accident or serious illness, I request that school personnel contact me first. If I am unable to be immediately reached, I authorize school personnel to contact the student's primary physician and to follow his/her instructions. If this is not possible, I authorize the school personnel to take necessary actions to ensure the safety and wellbeing of my student. 

 

In the event of life threatening injury or illness, I authorize school personnel to contact and dispatch emergency services on behalf of my student and then to immediately contact me or any other emergency contact listed if I can not be reached.
