Legal Liability Agreement:

I acknowledge and understand that participation in school activities, programs, and daily operations at ARC Academy involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to physical activity, student interaction, and use of school facilities.

 

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless ARC Academy, its administrators, employees, staff, volunteers, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or related to injury, illness, or harm to my child, except in cases of gross negligence, willful misconduct, or intentional wrongdoing by the school or its representatives.

 

I understand that this agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Louisiana.

 

In the event that legal action is initiated on behalf of my child against ARC Academy, its administrators, employees, staff, volunteers, or agents, and such action is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be without merit or the school is found not liable, I agree to be responsible for reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs incurred by the school in defense of such action, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

 

I acknowledge that this agreement does not waive protections that cannot be legally waived under state law and does not apply to acts of gross negligence, reckless conduct, or intentional harm.

 

If any provision of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana.

 

I have carefully read this agreement, fully understand its contents, and voluntarily agree to its terms. I acknowledge that I am the parent or legal guardian of the student and have the authority to enter into this agreement on their behalf.
